The sisters listened in horror as the twins revealed their story. Emily and Clara had fallen in love with the same man. Clara's jealousy drove her to poison Emily, only to be consumed by guilt and take her own life. Trapped in the mansion, their souls sought peace but never found it.
"You must help us," the spirits pleaded. "Our pain will consume you if you don't."

Sophie and Ella knew they had to act quickly. The twins’ spirits guided them to a hidden room, where a faded diary lay. It was Clara’s confession, a heart-wrenching account of her remorse.
"Burn this," the twins urged. "Release us."
The sisters hesitated but complied. As the diary turned to ash, the twins smiled, their forms fading into light.
"Thank you," their voices echoed. "Cherish each other always."

The mansion grew silent, its oppressive air lifted. Sophie and Ella left, forever bonded by their encounter. They never spoke of the night again, but in their hearts, they carried the twins’ warning.
