short moral story for adults

                         It's Never Too Late

In the 1940s, there was a man named Colonel Harland Sanders. At the age of 65, he lived in a small house and drove an old car. His only income was a $99 check from social security.

Colonel Sanders decided it was time for a change. He thought about what he could offer to others. He remembered his special fried chicken recipe, which his friends and family loved.

He left his home in Kentucky and traveled across the country. He went from restaurant to restaurant, trying to sell his recipe. He even offered it for free, asking for only a small part of the money the restaurant earned from selling his chicken.

Most restaurants said no. In fact, 1,009 restaurants turned him down. But Colonel Sanders did not give up. He believed in himself and his recipe.

Finally, he went to restaurant number 1,010. This time, he got a yes.

The moral of the story is simple. First, it’s never too late to find success. In a world that often celebrates young people, it’s easy to think you’re too old to succeed. But Colonel Sanders shows that this is not true.

Second, the story shows the power of persistence. You have to believe in yourself and your work. Ignore those who tell you no and keep going. If you do, you can achieve your dreams.
